Greetings fellow swappers.
Yes, we now have a medium account where we will be posting regular updates on what the team is doing.
In case you haven’t been following, GuapSwap is working on making profit swapping for miners transparent and fair to use.
At the start of 2022 our open source protocol launched and gave miners on the Ergo blockchain the ability to be paid out in any native token on Ergo.
We did so because we feel that the state of the market is just not a good experience.
Most of the services out there offer great convenience but at a very steep cost.
And let’s be honest. If you are spending the time to mine, you want every watt to count.
So what are we working on at the moment?
1. Multi-Token Swaps
Our first goal is to make multi-token swaps available.
That means that while running the protocol, you will be able to be paid out in up to 10 tokens of your choice.
Imagine pointing your miner at a pool and then being paid out in a pallet of tokens that you want.
So you’ll basically be able to mine the portfolio of choice.
Yes, we understand that you are only able to be paid in tokens native to the Ergo blockchain, but who knows when that will change? (Looking at you Spectrum).
2. GUI
Next we will be working on a GUI to streamline the user experience.
We’ve been taking feedback from users and one thing that repeats itself is that some are uncomfortable working with a CLI.
Obviously we want to make things as smooth as possible, so we are currently looking into making this a reality.
Lots of more functionality (and other stuff) is coming, so watch this space for more.
Closing Thoughts
Again we’d like to thank the GoodWhale for the grant. It has really helped spur the momentum of the project.
We’ve got more than a couple of partnerships lined up that we can’t wait to share, but all in due time.
